Vulcano: Descriptive poem. Vulcano is one of the Lípari islands, north of Sicily (Italy), where one of the most active volcanoes in the world is found. Volcanoes are nowadays classified according to their type of eruption. There are various kinds such as the Hawaian, Strobolian, but the Vulcanian type, to which volcanoes like the Vesubio, Etna and Vucano belong are the most violent. Their eruptions contain abundant ashes and gases due to which enormous streams of mud are caused which wash away everything on their way. This brief descriptive poemplaces us in the island of Vulcano, where following our own imagination we will participate in one of those eruptions. El joven marino: Is the product of the impression caused by the reading of the poem with the same title, written by Luis Cernuda. The work tells the inner struggle of a young man whose wish to become a sailor has to balance the fear of the rough and stormy sea. The character of the young sailor is given to the solo clarinet. The work in no way pretends to be a musical translation of the text by Cernuda. They are simply ideas, impressions, feelings about the sea and sea life. As the first line in Cernuda’s poem reads: ‘El mar y nada más’, (nothing but the sea).

Crevillent (Alicante) - 1975 -
Inicia sus estudios musicales a los 8 años en el Conservatorio de Murcia. Posteriormente el Grado Medio en Murcia y Conservatorio de Elche. En 1995 ingresa en el Conservatorio de Valencia, donde prosigue sus estudios con excelentes calificaciones. En 1996 es nombrado subdirector del Coro Rabinos. En 1998 ingresa en el “Centro Musical Allegro” de Valencia, consiguiendo el diploma de Teoría de la Música, por la Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music de Londres, con la máxima calificación. Durante el curso 1999-2000 asiste a clases de Dirección de Banda con el profesor José Rafael Pascual Vilaplana.
Colabora asiduamente como pianista con el “Grupo Lírico Maestro José Serrano”, con el cual debutó en la dirección de orquesta en Julio de 2001 con la puesta en escena de “La tabernera d (...) Read more

Titulado en Solfeo, Teoría de la Música, Repentización, Transposición y Piano. Diplomado por The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (Reino Unido) en Teoría de la Música. Cursa estudios superiores de Composición en el Conservatorio Superior Joaquín Rodrigo de Valencia. Perfecciona sus estudios de Composición y Dirección con profesores de prestigio internacional.
Como Director ha obtenido el 1er Premio en el I Certamen de Bandas de Música "Villa de Bejís" 2002 con la Banda de la Asociación Cultural "Allegro".
