“Cançó i danses”, fantasy in three times and five different dance style, recreates a happy tune that once served as the focus of a local theater. Inspired by the Mediterranean heat and light, is presented in its development, with leift motiv home, different rates, not at any time avoiding some of the most important techniques of composition, offering thud a fluid and varied language. Of note is the wide range of instruments, some of them little or nothing in the usual classical symphonic composition: such are the cases of the accordion and dulzaina, although the score always prudent to consider any alternative instrumental. “Cançó i danses” to describe what we have seen our sea and remains from its privileged position on a Mediterranean coast that long ago ceased to be quiet, clean and green.
