Concert for Trombone in three movements: I.- Sant Jordi. II.- Aroma d’Azahar. III.- Festa al Barranc. The primitive name of Paiporta, city of the Valencian community framed in the region “Horta South”, was Sant Jordi, which, united to that was place of old Christians, causes supposes that its foundation took place during or a shortly after the conquest of Valencia by the king Jaime I. Movement that conjugates the warlike element developing the interval of third with an element a lot more cantabile. The Valencian garden with their orange trees, own of the city of Paiporta, they remove at dusk, that so beautiful fragrance and filter of the own flower, the orange blossom. Harmonious, tranquil, sweet, beautiful movement. .., intends to describe the peace that offers this graced so own fragrance of our land. Paiporta and its Ravine that separates the city in two, is a fundamental element in the setting of the city, a private emblem. A place where can be extolled a festive environment and of contact. ... In this movement cousin the happiness, the to pass it well, the to enjoy the moment. .., in final the author intends that the interpreter entertain interpreting this movement and at the same time, he manage to entertain in the same way, to the spectator, to the listener that deserves this pleasure of enjoying with the music. This Composition is dedicated: The great trombone Player Christian Lindberg, for all its excellent musical path. Commissioned of the City Hall of Paiporta, to increase and to bet on its culture, being this the work of obliged interpretation, in the The 2nd International Christian Lindberg Alone Competition 2008, “Ciutat of Paiporta” in which is celebrated in the Municipal Audience of Paiporta during the month of April of 2008. FERRER FERRAN, Licenciado en Dirección de Orquesta de Vientos y Composición por “The Royal Schools of Music”, en Londres, Catedrático de Composición en el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castellón y profesor numerario en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Valencia en la especialidad de Composición, Acompañamiento y Orquesta, Director Titular de la Banda Primitiva de Paiporta y de la Orquesta de Vientos “Allegro” en España. También es Director Artístico de la Banda Sinfónica Provincial de Ciudad Real y profesor principal en el “Corso Biennale in Direzione di Banda” en Aosta (Italia), actividad que comparte con la de concertista y director de Allegro Centro Musical. Es miembro de la WASBE.
