Written in 2002 and based on a previous version for dulzainas and brass wind instruments. it is dedicated to Encarna Peiró and Eduardo Vañó from Bocairent. It was first performed by Unión Musical Contestana and La Xafigá in august of the same year. The title is refered to the Arabic name al’amir ‘the emir’.
