During the christian reconquest of Spain, one of the last hamlets taken by the christians, where things were about to settle down, is seized back by Almoravid troops coming from Northern Africa. Its inhabitants, unable to defend themselves, are locked inside their own dungeons . Beautiful and brave Bexumea manages to scape swimming across the lake which is next to the hamlet and goes to tell the king what has happened. The king, angry about this, goes to the hamlet with one hundred of his best men. Bexumea decides to go with the troops as a guide, for he knows the the area perfectly and can help. Being near, they realice the difficulty for launching an attack for the only viable entrance, with the exception of the lake, is guarded by the almoravids. The only chance is to enter incognito. Bexumea risks her life entering the village together with ten knights. Her help is vital: thanks to her beauty she manages to seduce the guardians at the entrance and thus allow the christian troops to free the village from the moors.
