The work "Segaria" with its expressive phrases, intended to evoke the grandeur of the mountains their name that makes a privileged vantage point of resistance as a Moorish watchtower that spans the Gulf of Valencia. The drama of the themes of "Segària" emulates the great tragedy that in 1609 led to the banishment of the Moors from the region of La Marina Alta. The bitterness of being deprived of the fertile land they were born and lived his ancestors is reflected in the lyricism of the work. With a lower mib modulation, presents an issue of character giocoso which recreates the diligence and integration of Christian and Muslim cultures tragically broken with the recent deportation of the Moriscos from the ports of Denia and Javea to Oran on the coast of Barbary. The work was conceived after a visit to the famous top of the mountain where "The King Cadireta the Moor" which provides an unparalleled panoramic and breathes serenity and nostalgia that undoubtedly feel the Moors having to leave this beauty. It is dedicated to friend and neighbor Benimeli Perelló Vicente Domenech. The release of this fantasy in his solo part was played by Juan Antonio Ramirez in the city of Alicante on April 25, 2004.
